Toni Weber

Toni Weber was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. She worked at the University of Pittsburgh in the payroll accounting field until her retirement. She now works part time as a librarian.

Working at Pitt afforded her the opportunity to further develop her painting and drawing talents as well as her new found interest in journalism. She was filled with excitement when she secured a press pass to the Chautauqua at Pitt conference. As the dignitaries spoke in Russian she was able to dial in to the English translation on the head phones provided. It felt like sitting in at the United Nations.

Over the years Toni has continued to use her artistic talents selling and gifting several paintings. One of her favorite methods of painting is in reverse on recycled windows. She also creates one of a kind trivets (hot plates) from re-purposed floor tile. She sells these colorful usable art at various craft shows.

Dancing into Destiny is her first novel. It is a romantic fiction piece partially based on experience. Tina, the main character, is a strong woman, who has weathered some trying experiences and refuses to give up on finding love. She endeavors to persevere and create a better life for herself.

A favorite quote: "Maybe life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. Maybe it is about learning to dance in the rain."

May you always dance in the rain and sing in the sunshine.
