Oscar Calderon

Oscar Calderon is an engineer based in South Florida.

An avid reader since his middle school years, Oscar grew up watching horror films, reading comic books, and hearing folk and urban scary tales told by his aunts and great-grandmother.

It was during his college years that Oscar began writing epic fantasy short stories and publishing them on online forums.

Among his influences, he includes horror masters Peter Straub, Richard Laymon, John Saul and Max Ehrlich.

When he's not writing or testing software, you can find Oscar sculpting, reading horror, working out or training for combat sports.
