Welcome to my Amazon Author page.
Many years ago, trusting in the goodwill of people everywhere, I traveled the world without a care, By freighter and donkey, from Asia to Europe and Africa, Mexico and Central America, whatever came along was next on the agenda. Fried in a Hubcap: Tales from the '70s tells the stories of those carefree, sometimes hilarious, occasionally dangerous and usually highly irresponsible times.
Fifty years later, to create the world I want to live in, I wrote the Reinaldo books (Reinaldo the Magnificent, Reinaldo the Martial Artist, Reinaldo the Time Traveler in progress) where the characters talk AND listen to each other. Reinaldo's grandmother is magical and he is a very smart seven-year-old who believes and dabbles in magic. In his world, people love, respect and support each other, even when they have differences. These books are for children ages seven and up and the people who care for them.
Now I have settled in the central Mexican highlands in the pueblo magico of San Miguel de Allende. I get to spend my time doing what I love: writing, playing music, and practicing my Spanish. My latest book is an Appalachian crime novel, the first in a planned series, to be released in 2026.
