Jacob E. M. Johnson

Jacob E.M. Johnson is a new author and illustrator, who released his debut children's picture book "Parker the Pierate: The Pirate of Pie!" in December 2018. Jacob's fun, rhyming pirate tale was a hit with young readers, so Parker the Pierate returned in a new book titled "Parker the Pierate and the Squirmy Squid!: Parker's 2nd Pirate Adventure!" which was released in March 2020.

Jacob demonstrated a love of writing and drawing from a very young age; he was reading, writing words, and drawing recognizable pictures at age two, and wrote his first story by the age of four. Growing up, Jacob continued to develop his writing and artistic skills by creating silly stories and funny pictures to amuse his four younger brothers. At age 20, Jacob officially began his career as a published author and illustrator. He is now excited to share his goofy sense of humor with young children throughout the world. Jacob's mission is to create children's books that are fun to read, and include positive messages for young readers. Jacob completed his associate degree in business and marketing at Green River College, and now focuses exclusively on creating new books and other family friendly entertainment through Glow Tree Publishing and Glow Tree Designs. Jacob's hobbies include nature photography, hiking, gaming, and canoeing.
