Terry Sharp

Terry was a trainer and teacher (Auckland Institute of Technology Diploma in Adult & Tertiary Education) at Whangarei Polytechnic, New Zealand, for twenty-four years.Terry’s interest in social change and political trends caused him to research into social and political history. He found there were social trends that indicated a seasonal pattern in the way societies and civilizations developed and declined. This prompted him to explore the ideas and write a thesis to validate these notions. There is a need to show an alternative to the present perception of human social and political evolution. This work is a contribution to the debate and to widen the scope of knowledge.
