Marks Prep

Marks Prep is the test preparation and tutoring division of Marks Education, which provides tutoring, test preparation, and admissions counseling to students all over the world.

Each Marks Prep tutor is an experienced full-time educator and a top 1% test taker who sits for the SAT and other tests every year, in real test centers, along with our students. We use the knowledge gained from taking these tests and working with our students to write efficient strategies and materials for all the tests we tutor— from the SSAT and ISEE to the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, and LSAT.

The full-time tutors at Marks Prep have, for the past ten years, tutored hundreds of students each year across the United States and the world, via Skype and other platforms. Students who have worked with us for at least six sessions have, on average, improved their scores by 340 points on the SAT (pre-2015, from baseline 10th grade PSATs) and almost 7 points on the ACT. In contrast to many other firms, we use only actual College Board PSATs and real past ACTs for baseline tests. We also work with several schools and non-profits to help them improve their students’ standardized test scores and change college admissions outcomes and to thus markedly enhance their School Profile.
