Ty Guillory

I spent quite a few years building wet plate collodion cameras for photographers all over the world. This was a very interesting time of my life. I have invested countless hours to studying various originals and I aimed to improve upon each and every camera that left my shop.

I am very proud of the work I did and truly feel that I have left some sort of "mark" in contemporary plate photography. For those of you with the desire to attempt your own camera build, I have written two books on building wet plate cameras.
