From an early age, Madison knew that she loved creating. What started as dress up and make believe quickly turned into a love of storytelling and bringing out the beauty in others. This passion first presented itself in her love for makeup, as she diligently practiced and attended MakeUp Designory (MUD) to further her craft.
After working as a makeup artist in film, print, and retail, she found a deep need that no makeup could meet- insecurity and dissatisfaction rooted deep in the hearts of ladies before her. This weighed heavily on her heart and led to the realization that her call to make others feel beautiful would also involve serving in ministry settings. Madison went to Hope International University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Family Ministry.
During her college experience, crisis struck, and the ground beneath her feet seemed to crumble. This time is what sparked her to write "Stripped," as many of her friends faced similar challenges and she knew someone needed to offer guidance and support to those going through them.
Madison loves putting words together in ways that make abstract thoughts concrete, and speak truth to the soul. She is constantly looking for new ways to communicate what God is teaching her, and is excited for His plans ahead.
