Meg Lynch

Meg Lynch is a writer and editor based out of Atlanta, GA, with a passion and penchant for writing poetry (and loves alliteration!). After starting her blog for an Internet Writing class in 2011, she decided to keep it going, and it is still going to this day. Meg has been a part of several writing communities, including writing a column at The Reflection Magazine called Faith and Forgiveness. She has also edited several manuscripts for local authors, both fiction and non-fiction. She enjoys seeing writers' visions come to pass. After all, there is nothing like working hard to write something and then getting to hold the finished book in your hands.

Meg published her first volume of poetry, This is Only the Beginning, in November, 2014 after throwing it together in a month and giving an editor friend a weeks and a half to look it over (yes, she knows how ridiculous that is). She re-published that book in May, 2016 after a thorough round of edits and a couple additions.

Her true love, however, is her second volume of poetry, The Rainbow Moment, which is the best thing she has ever written, and might ever write. Published in May, 2017, the title poem of this book is an acrostic-style poem that utilizes the colors of the rainbow (ROY G. BIV, anyone?) to tell the story of a prisoner who escapes to find angels waiting at the shoreline to take him to Heaven. This entire volume of poetry was written with the express purpose of freeing hearts to live with the realization that they are worth every breath they take.
