BHASKAR SOMPALLI

Bhaskar Sompalli was born into a traditional south Indian family, and grew up in a rich and nurturing community. He moved to the United States to study in universities in Oklahoma and Illinois, and now lives in California.

Over the years, many of his essays have appeared in NPR's Perspectives series, and aired from KQED-San Francisco's NPR station- to entertain morning commuters. His writing interests range from Utopian science fiction to bank heist thrillers and family dramas.

When not writing during his long commute to work and back, he runs and tries his hand at the terrifying art of verbal storytelling.
