I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls Ella and Amy, and I live on the North Essex coast close to my family and where I was born.
My girls are a big reason for my decision to leave the corporate leadership roles I have loved in order to set up my own business Head and Heart Leadership. My want now is to create alignment and balance between all of my passions in life and ensure I am here for them as we enter this next key phase of our lives.
For many years, outside of my day job, I worked as a coach on training courses for More to Life, a not for profit charity that specialises in personal development. I expanded my volunteering 4 years ago to supporting the homeless with Crisis, working Christmas week for the past 3 years in South East London. More recently I have taken up a role on the Board as a Trustee for Farleigh Hospice. Learning is what I love and traveling the world to master new techniques and work alongside other coaches, facilitators and teachers. In 2018 this led me to New Zealand to learn from a community of Maori Healers, whose powerful work is designed to support alignment and shift energy through massage and pressure point work on the body rather than through the mind.
In terms of my work, my background is in FMCG and I have held Senior Exec/VP roles in Sales, Marketing and Innovation. Over the past 25 years I have developed into an experienced leader, coach and facilitator of change. My passion is people and delivering results fast by creating passionate teams, working in a culture of high accountability, purpose and belief. As a consultant I am fortunate to work alongside the Senior Exec teams of a wide range of organisations within the NHS, Police, Fire and Ambulance Services in addition to a range of commercial organisations in fields as diverse as Pharmaceuticals, Music and Events, Manufacturing, Shipping and Food/Drink. Great people are to be found in all walks of life and industries. I feel extremely fortunate to work alongside them all.
