Julia McCurley

Julia McCurley is a Professional Matchmaker and Founder of Something More, an offline personalized matchmaking service for elite singles in Austin, TX. She has over 20,000 hours of matchmaking experience and has helped 100's of singles on their journey to finding love. After a successful career in the IT industry both as a headhunter and business development, she decided to follow her true passion of matchmaking and transferred those skills to be a headhunter for the heart. Game Set Match is her first book and is a collection of blogs she has written over the past 10 years. Her blogs have been featured on well known sites such as The Huffington Post, She knows, Digital Romance, Good Men Project, Society Diaries, and others. She has been featured on all the major TV stations including ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX affiliates. She is an avid tennis player and has long thought there are many similarities between winning at tennis and creating romance. She is happily married to her husband of 14 years. Together they have a blended family of 6 children and 5 grandchildren.
