Vanessa Westermann writes mysteries that combine the heartbreak of murder with the joy of feel-good romance. She is a former Arthur Ellis Awards judge, holds an M.A. in English Literature, as well as a Bachelor of Education, and teaches creative writing. When she’s not searching Canada’s cottage country for her next small-town setting, she’s plotting a fictional crime from the comfort of an Adirondack chair.
