Born in Brussels in 1965, I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years. For me, the story begins during the summer of 2015. As holiday reading, I took with me the work of Doctor Laurent Alexandre: The death of death - how techno medicine will shake up humanity. I devour this book and decides to write an anticipation novel which will address the conquest of the last frontier, death... Immortality, our environment, geopolitics, religion and power, artificial intelligence and the odyssey space are treated in this novel.
It took me a little over two years to finish and self-publish it. A long work of solitude. Research and writing punctuated the dawn of my days and my long evenings. Writing requires sacrifice. Without pretension, with a lot of humility, I would like this book to be read by as many people as possible. He provokes and makes you uncomfortable. It exists to make people think and perhaps act. What do we really want for the future of our humanity? IM asking you.
After a few attempts with publishers, I decided to strike out on my own to make my work known. Like many others...
My first goal has already been achieved. I managed to write a book. However, it would be so interesting to be able to discuss the subjects that I address through this dystopia which takes us to 2150. My story will, I hope, have the ingredients that will keep you in suspense. I hope to confuse you a little, to make you think about reading certain passages and perhaps to make you realize that our vigilance and desire to lead certain battles in the name of certain values must be shared. I have confidence in youth. But we are too young to leave them the burden of building a better world. This book is fiction... After 10,000 readers I'm starting the second volume! Will you make me an author...if I deserve it. Readers always decide. Respectfully, Eric.
