Stuart Powell began his dive into sustainability with his previous work at TransLoc, a transportation startup acquired by Ford Smart Mobility in early 2018. Prior to that, he worked in the nation's capital at a policy consulting firm founded by Edward “Ted” Kennedy Jr.
Having worked both in policy and technology, Stuart understands the important role that government plays in innovation and is passionate about the intersection of climate action, cleantech, policy, and finance. As a Millennial, he sees the climate crisis as the greatest challenge facing our future. At the same time, he is a techno-optimist believing exponential technologies can fix this global issue.
Stuart is the cofounder of Climate Changemakers, a nonpartisan climate advocacy org helping the climate concerned become effective advocates and agents of change by removing the friction to political action. Outside of his community involvement, he enjoys traveling and listening to good music (Fred Again).
