Gregory Downey

Gad (Gregory A. Downey) is an author, swordsman, and lifelong student of history and adventure. Born in Milford, Connecticut, he grew up fascinated by the past, drawn to stories of courage, mystery, and worlds beyond the ordinary.

At twenty-two, he moved to California to pursue two lifelong ambitions: writing books and teaching the art of the sword. He later helped found the Western Circle of Swordfighters and wrote The Curse of Raven’s Rose Keep.

His fiction blends history, action, romance, mythology, and the supernatural, shaped by a lifetime spent exploring the line between the world we know and the adventures that might be waiting just beyond it.
