Hi, I’m Chiara Sandri: I am so happy you are here!

My journey as an author and illustrator began in my childhood home in Turin, Italy – a place filled with books, nature, and endless imagination. Growing up, I devoured children’s books and dreamed of bringing my own stories to life. My work is rooted in those early memories: tales of daily adventures with my two brothers, heartwarming friendships, and the simple joys of childhood.

After studying to become a pharmacist and raising my family of five, I finally embraced my passion: writing and illustrating children's books. I believe that even the simplest stories can carry profound messages, and I strive to create books that spark curiosity, inspire love, care and kindness, and remind us all of the power of imagination and the beauty of just being children.

You can find me living my daily life with my husband and our three kids, embracing the ups and downs, and always striving to see the goodness in each of them. Even as an adult, I love looking at the world through those childlike eyes, brimming with wonder, love, trust, hope, and laughter!
