Jos Burton

Jos began his career forty years ago working in industry with Scottish & Newcastle gaining valuable management experience across a wide range of disciplines. During this time he gained responsibility for training and development and qualified as a lecturer in Adult Education.

Jos then took a career move to work at Hays. Here he progressed to a senior leadership role in L&D delivering training and coaching at all levels from front-line operations to senior executives.

Jos now works as a training consultant and executive coach. He has designed and delivered a range of training courses for both the public sector and commercial organisations. Jos has gained valuable experience in the roll-out of extensive programmes across global corporate organisations as well as bespoke specialist courses tailored for individual businesses with niche requirements.

Be Useful is Jos’ first book; it is a collection of ideas, models and insights that he has found useful working with people across a wide range of organisations and different cultures.
