Eren Simpson

Eren Simpson - who also writes under the pen name of Eren Ellis - is a writer and illustrator living in Dallas, Texas with her husband and two children. Inspired by Harriet the Spy in elementary school, Eren's lifelong goal has been to write and create books for children and adults, ranging in topic from mystery, history, acceptance, mental health and just plain fun.

She has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked as a newspaper reporter for seven years before focusing her attention on her children and her career as a writer and illustrator.
