About me... I was born in North Dakota and grew up in Japan and Uganda, so it kind've makes sense that I don't see the world like other people. I've been a model, teacher, gardener, and orphanage administrator, and I blame my degrees in philosophy and anthropology for leading me to abandon all that and follow my heart in writing books.
