Sabreen Islam

Sabreen Islam was born in 2002 in Auckland, New Zealand, to Bengali parents, and has been writing ever since she learned how to. She grew up watching the world around her and writing it all down, through songs, stories and poetry. When she is not writing, Sabreen could be found with her guitar or other instrument or scrambling to finish her homework as quickly as she could to get back to her music or writing.

Sabreen lives in Auckland with her family and two cats, who have encouraged her to dream since day one. A bibliophile and history enthusiast, Sabreen aims to incorporate her interests within her stories, and is working on a significant upcoming project which she hopes will make her dream of having a career as a writer a reality.
