Charles E Pullen

Rev. Charles E. Pullen is the author of the Book of Spiritual Poetry: Enlightenment which is the first in a series of books he hopes to publish. The book was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., 585 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. Date of Publication was January 30, 2019. Charles E. Pullen was born and grew up in Fresno, California. He's the seventh of nine siblings. Growing up he enjoyed outdoor activities among a few, playing basketball, tennis, swimming, boating and camping. His cognition was engaged in having a vivid imagination of world travel and global people. At the age of 14 he realized he had the gift of inspiring people to be hopeful in life spiritually. Because of his real love for people he naturally wanted everyone to succeed in life and be fulfilled in their level of achievement with joy and happiness continually. At the age of 23 he relocated to the Bay Area in Northern California to pursue his educational and life dreams. His primary passion and motivation were to pursue knowledge through college academics and life experiences so that one day he would become an entrepreneur. He did obtain the goal of becoming a public accounting entrepreneur in Northern California for over 22 years. Although, while he was a senior at Golden Gate University - School of Accounting, San Francisco, California he wedded his fiancee after dating her four years and she immediately conceived child compelling him to become an accounting entrepreneur sooner than anticipated. He’s been married to the same women for 40 years, father of two children, and grandfather of five grandchildren. His pursuit was also of a personal concern seeking information from various sources, for example, books, knowledgeable and wise people to culminate as a person of knowledge, wisdom and understanding, particularly via the Holy Bible. Prior to Rev. Pullen closing his accounting practice he was in the planning stage to open five more accounting offices in the very near future throughout Northern, Central and Southern California when suddenly God altered his life’s direction toward ministry. In addition to his experience as an accounting entrepreneur, he was employed for over 12 years by several contracting companies, including some of the largest accounting firms, a global CPA firm, and other organizations. His life-changing career from accounting services to creative poetic spiritual writing by the Lord was evident because of the series of spiritual events over the years that led to the Holy Spirit inspiring the spiritual writing of his first book. Rev. Pullen has been a Christian since 1984 and was appointed and ordained to the Office of Deacon in a local Baptist church in 1994. He was called by God and accepted by the church into the Gospel Ministry in 1996, and he was ordained by God and the Office of the Bishop in Pastoral in 2011. In the same year, he founded "New Life World Harvest Church," a non-denominational Christian Ministry. In 2012 one night the Lord instructed him to write a poem about his life to help him feel better and after several years of writing a collection of poems the Book of Spiritual Poetry: Enlightenment was born.
