I spent years successfully wandering through jobs but always trying to figure out “what I want to be when I grow up.” As my career path zigged and zagged, writing was always there, lurking in the background patiently waiting it's turn. Then at 32 years old, the patience ran out. I didn’t sit down to write this book. It jumped out of me at perhaps the worst, best, most confusing, and most liberating time of my life.
