Igor Lys

Raised in Paris, Igor studied political science and political marketing in Russia, his mother's country of birth. He worked as an intern in local political marketing agencies and also collaborated with advertising agencies (IQ Marketing, Leo Burnett Russia) as a creative consultant.

Back in France in 2008, he started working with Brandflight, the Swedish branding agency created by Thomas Gad (author of the slogan "Connecting People" for Nokia), where he eventually directed Place branding projects. Having acquired an in-depth knowledge of the influence of marketing on public policies, he created ID-réel in 2009, a territorial marketing agency that became Global in 2012 and Gambit in 2018. Today, Gambit is one of the leading government advisories in Europe. Igor is also the founder of Government Tomorrow Forum, one of the most important international research initiatives relatives to governance.

Graduate of the first cohort of Yale SOM Elevated Leadership Program, Igor has a Masters degree in International Affairs from King's College London, and had previously studied geopolitics in Sorbonne.
