Dr. Daniel B. Gilbert (Ph.D., University of Aberdeen) is a dedicated husband, father, pastor, theologian, author, and humanitarian who has embraced life with passion and purpose. With over four decades of ministry experience, he has tirelessly proclaimed the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ across church, para-church ministries, and higher education. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church for more than 32 years, Dr. Gilbert's commitment to faith and service is unwavering.
As the founder and CEO of EmPowered Living International Ministries and ELIM Theological Institutes, Dr. Gilbert has championed educational, humanitarian, and mission work worldwide. His leadership extends to his role as President of DBGilbert Consulting and Coaching, where he continues to inspire and guide others, especially by equipping and empowering leaders for eternal impact.
Dr. Gilbert's academic contributions are significant, having served as the Director of the Master's Program and Assistant Professor at Regent University, School of Divinity, and as Dean of Students and Professor of Theology and Church History at The King's University. His dedication to developing sound theology and humanitarian action in developing nations is a testament to his faith in the power of the Holy Spirit.
A lover of the outdoors and study, Dr. Gilbert enjoys hiking, especially in the Scottish Highlands, golf, archery, dog training, and traveling, as well as reading and writing. He shares his life's journey with his beloved college sweetheart, Mary Beth, and their wonderful daughter, Maria.
