C. J. Knittel

C. J. Knittel was born in 1981 in Krefeld, in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. He began writing his first stories as early as elementary school. At twelve, he attempted his first book—a collection of stories—and at fourteen, his first novel. His first professional works were published in his early twenties, including science fiction classics reviews for a magazine and short stories for various anthologies. After a two-year creative break dedicated to honing his writing craft, his first book, the mystery novella Die Siedlung, was released in 2010. Today, C. J. Knittel lives in Mönchengladbach with his wife.
