Bryant K Owens

Dr. Owens is a professor at New College Franklin in Franklin, TN

and also teaches courses at Volunteer State Community College and Virginia Highlands Community College.

Dr. Owens has taught courses in philosophy, ethics, philosophy of religion, logic, and rhetoric at the college level and for upper grades of classical Christian schools. His educational background is in fine arts, theology, and now ancient philosophy.

Dr. Owens is also the Senior Pastor of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Cookeville, TN.

Dr. Bryant K. Owens earned a Ph.D. in Humanities from Faulkner University in 2018. His research focus is on the classic tradition of Christian philosophy and its role in hermeneutics. He holds a B.F.A from East Tennessee State University (1993) and an M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2009)
