Lyn Meredith

Lyn Meredith is an award winning children’s book illustrator. Her latest book Gracie and The Radar Girls won an illustration award as well as two other book awards. Her other books Home, and The Water Princess have also won awards.

As a child, she was the one that thought up all the pretend games for her sister and friends. She drew her first mural at age 3, a four foot drawing of a dragon, rendered in Crayola crayons. She wrote and illustrated her first book at age 9. It was typed on an old typewriter. The illustrations were done in ballpoint pen and dime store watercolors.

Lyn is a self-taught artist. She works in both traditional and digital styles. She lives with her husband, her horses, and cows among the farms and dairies in the heartland of California.
