Oma Goodluck

Oma Goodluck has earned accolades as an Educator and Artist. She was born and raised on the US Virgin island of St. Thomas but now lives and works in Houston, Texas. She explains, "I am always inclined to bring an inspiring and hands-on learning experience to my students, readers and fans. As a story teller, I welcome you to join me on this visual journey.”

As a child Ms. Goodluck won prizes for her creativity. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphics Design from University of Texas and an Associate Degree in Early Childhood-6th Grade Education

She has a reverence for nature and love of the outdoors which is evident in her paintings. When she is not engaged with kids, her activities include gardening, cycling, kayaking, singing a Capella, and video-gaming.

Oma’s numerous exhibitions include those in several galleries such as Border Pine Gallery of Great Falls, Hockaday Museum, in Kallispell, Montana, and Color Show at Spring Studios Art Gallery, Houston.

The artist was juried into the Women Artists of the West (WAOW), a prominent organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the profession of women’s fine art. She is also a member of the Manhattan Arts International Artists Showcase Gallery, in New York, and her artwork is included in numerous private art collections throughout the U.S.
