Chris and Susan Beesley are former accountants and management consultants in their 60’s and living retirement on their terms

Aged 57 and 55 respectively their wake up call came when they realised retirement was on the horizon and having been self employed for most of their working life had little in the way of ‘traditional’ pension savings.

The advice they received from financial advisors was talking about needing over a million in savings to see them through to a good old age. So taking this advice, in 2005 they decided to invest in property to create their “retirement fund”. All was going well until the worldwide crash of 2008. Their property portfolio became a millstone round their necks rather than the generous pension it was meant to be.

They had two choices. To carry on working or find another solution.

They turned to the internet and discovered they could take their business skills and transfer them into a global online education business and help other professional people seek a solution through online entrepreneurship.

Nine years down the line, they have a successful online business generating a six figure “retirement income” and coach and mentor people all over the world as well as being invited to share their story and experience on international stages.
