John Lipscomb was born on a cold winters day on January 30, 1984 in Morgantown, West Virginia and was raised on a small pig farm in the Appalachian Mountains of Preston, West Virginia by his parents Bradley and Marilyn Lipscomb. John discribes his childhood as one in a million. ‘‘We was free to dream and be ourselves. Growing up we did not have much money but we always had what we needed’’. John is a humanitarian by heart, he said as he was growing up he watched and learned from his Grandmother, his Aunt Loria, and Sister Alice to always help others in need. Family means the world to him. He spent a good amount of time working as an Assitant Teacher, then went on to work in drug/alcohol recovery programs around the state, Department of Justice and currently John owns a small bar and grill in Tunnelton, Wv. John lives in Kingwood, West Virginia with his small family Skyley, and Baby Lisa. His hobbies include writing children’s books, spending time outdoors, camping, and canning with his cousin Christina.
