John Shaughnessy is also the author of "One More Gift to Give", "The Irish Way of Life" and "When God Cheers". A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, he grew up in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area and lives in Indianapolis, Ind. A longtime columnist and feature writer for "The Indianapolis Star", he is currently the assistant editor and a writer for "The Criterion", the newspaper of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He and his wife, Mary, have three children, John, Brian and Kathleen. They are also grandparents.
