Nigel Culkin

Dr. Nigel Culkin is currently Professor of Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Develompent at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and, author of over 50 publications. He is Past President of the Institute of Small Business & Entrepreneurship and has wide-ranging experience and expertise in advising, reviewing, leading and participating in major funded projects for organisations such as ESRC, British Council, Major Banks, the EU, ILO, JISC and Regional Development Agencies.

His key contributions to the furtherance of knowledge and its application to society are in entrepreneurship, business engagement and research which breaks new ground in the relationship between, industry, government and higher education; influencing entrepreneurial learning with a significant contribution to a reappraisal of the role of the University in knowledge based and developing economies.
