Joe Sacksteder

Joe Sacksteder is the Director of Creative Writing at Interlochen Center for the Arts and a PhD candidate at the University of Utah. His books are "Make/Shift," winner of the 2017 Linda Bruckheimer Series in Kentucky Literature from Sarabande Books, and "Driftless Quintet," winner of the Nicholas Scaffner Award for Music in Literature from Schaffner Books. As The Young Vish, his album of Werner Herzog audio collages, "Fugitive Traces." is available from Punctum Books. His fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and audio-visual work has appeared in Salt Hill, Ninth Letter, Denver Quarterly, New South, and elsewhere.
