Patrick Christopher Ehler

Patrick Christopher Ehler was born in Germany in 1988. He completed courses in the fundamental principles of biochemistry, physiology, genetics, and immunology at Harvard Medical School HMX, where he gained a deeper knowledge of biochemical constitutions, molecular biological structures, and the most important medical concepts of treating and preventing diseases.

In his profession, he is particularly engaged with the topics of education for sustainable development, promoting innovation and creativity, and cultivating mental health in schools.

He participated in Environmental Security and Sustaining Peace. Environmental Security and Sustaining Peace is an international program of the Environmental Law Institute, part of the United Nations Environmental Program in association with the School of Social Ecology at the University of California.

He is involved in the charity organisation FAEI.eu for prevention measures for addiction problems. During his continuing education at the University of Adelaide, he developed frameworks to support people successfully to move from addiction to recovery. The projects involve a range of psychosocial interventions and the integration of biological factors to balance general health.

Through his further training at the Harvard Global Health Institute Improving Global Health (improvement of global health) he developed scientifically based solutions using tested tools in order to promote and validate concrete changes.

Certified by the SIY Institute, he is committed to be an ambassador to speak and cultivate programs for mental health. The SIY Institute was created by Google in 2007 when one of the first Google engineers, Chade-Meng Tan, assembled a team of leading experts in mindfulness, neuroscience, leadership and emotional intelligence to conduct an in-house course for other Google employees with the to develop an affectionate name "Search Inside Yourself". The organization works with Google, SAP, the United Nations, Procter & Gamble and Salesforce.

Patrick contributes:

- As the Ambassador of the Augsburg Education Alliance, which is part of the "Local Agenda 21 - for a sustainable Augsburg.

- As the Chief Operating Officer of the mental health charity organization Bvei.org

- As the Creative Director of the virtual reality project of the Offfice for Sustainability of the City of Augsburg

- As the Creative Director and actor in national, European and international film production projects
