Sue Parisher

Sue Parisher is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who served 21 honorable years on active duty while married to her abuser who was also an Army Officer. After a 20 year break from faith, she pleaded for God to enter her world moments after her abuser attempted to kill her. Frightened, alone, holding tightly to her secret for fear of her life, she believed time and distancing herself from her abuser would heal her from the horrors of her past.

A nervous breakdown seven years into her recovery opened her eyes to this: that in order for her to transition from a domestic violence victim to survivor, she had to work, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at reprograming how her mind thought and how she responded to the world around her.
