Timothy Teruo Watters, artist, writer and yogi, was born in Santa Rosa, California. His artwork has been featured in galleries from Hawaii to Utah, and a sacred project (a volume of nineteen different translations of Japji Sahib) consisting exclusively of his illustrations resides in the museum at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. His journey of self-exploration and meditation has brought him all over the world from Mount Shasta to Chiang Mai to Anandpur Sahib. He has written and illustrated a children’s book, When Piglets Fly, which features sixty-three watercolor illustrations. His favorite authors include Roald Dahl and Jules Verne, and his favorite artists include Vincent Van Gogh and Hokusai.
