Barbara Shepherd

Barbara Shepherd is a retired court stenographer now living in Arizona. She enjoys writing about trials which she participated in during her career. She turns them into fiction books by adding her preferred endings and changing all names and places, but using many of her own court transcripts for the trials.

Barbara Shepherd is writing a series of court trial books using a fictional character of Mike McCarthy as the handsome, strong District Attorney. Her books introduce other interesting characters such as Jolene Grayson, Assistant District Attorney, Jake Tillman, billionaire bison ranch owner, as well as many interesting criminals and investigators.

Barbara is now writing under the name B. Ann Shepherd as her author name because of a conflict in other authors by the same name who write children's books. She enjoys visiting her grandchildren in Pennsylvania and is looking forward to more grandchildren in the near future.
