Dorothia was raised in the mountains of Colorado—influenced by her artistic parents' love of art, books and nature. She’s worked as a scientific illustrator, animator, graphic designer and fine artist before turning to her life-long passion—creating books for children. Nature, imagination, and children inspire her art and stories.
