Demetria Poole

Demetria Poole a native of Atlanta, Georgia wants to live in a world where each person is able to live their truth freely without judgment. She was raised by her mother, has eleven sisters and brothers and two beautiful children.

As a Special Education Instructional teacher, she’s been applauded on her abilities to relate, understand, and empathize with young adults. She has been featured in several newsletters and featured at many Meet the Author events.

When she’s not working her typical 9 to 5, you can find her in the park or home spending time with her two young children or enjoying alone time on her patio writing or spending time with her crazy-cool family.

Her recently-released book Black Girl Lost hits the shelves on July 21, 2020.
