David Estringel is a Xicanx writer/poet with works published in literary publications, such as The Opiate, Azahares, Cephalorpress, Sledgehammer Lit, Ethel, Literary Heist, Cowboy Jamboree, San Antonio Review, Punk Noir Magazine, Poetry NI, Dreich, Somos en escrito, Fahmidan Journal, Ethel, The Milk House, Beir Bua Journal, and Roi Faineant Press. David received his BA in English and MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas, along with a graduate certificate in Women and Gender Studies.
His first collection of poetry and short fiction Indelible Fingerprints (Alien Buddha Press) was published in 2019, followed by his second and third poetry collections Blood Honey (Anxiety Press) and Cold Comfort House (Anxiety Press) in 2022, his fourth book little punctures (Really Serious Literature) in 2023, and his fifth collection Blind Turns in the Kitchen Sink (Anxiety Press) in 2023. David has also written six poetry chapbooks, Punctures, PeripherieS, Eating Pears on the Rooftop, Golden Calves, Sour Grapes, Blue, and Brujeria (coming soon from Anxiety Press).
