Edward Black

Edward Black was born in Dallas, Texas in 1969 and grew up in the North Texas area where he continues to reside today. Joining the Kaufman, Texas Police Department as a Reserve Officer in 1996, he began a career that would have him serving the citizens of this small community for more than two decades.

During a career that saw him attacked by a man with a knife, two on-duty car accidents, being shot at multiple times, and many more hair raising events, he amassed a large assortment of sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking stories.

In "Captain Black, True Stories of a Small Town Cop" Black recalls some of these stories as if he were speaking to the reader one on one.
