Pamela Kihm began motivating people to choose more healthful ways of moving more than thirty years ago. She was one of the first advocates of low-impact dance-aerobics helping her students reach aerobic levels without causing joint damage. She has a degree in Behavioral Science and since completing the 900+ hour Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education training in 1991 has had a continuous active Feldenkrais practice.
Through her books and in her private practice as a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner, people learn to move more efficiently with less wear and tear on their bodies. Frequently her clients find that subtle modifications to exercises prescribed by the medical community make those exercises noticeably less painful and markedly more effective.
