Wendy Capland

Wendy Capland born in Brockton, Massachusetts started her career as an elementary school teacher in the same Massachusetts town in which she grew up. Wendy left teaching after just 4 years, realizing her potential was greater than her current job in spite of her love for her students. She was grateful to Don Summers who gave her a chance and hired her into the business arena which began her life-long career in human personal transformation. Wendy started her own consulting company, Vision Quest Consulting https://www.visionquestconsulting.com in 1985, helping individuals become more effective leaders and organizations learn to better manage their most important asset, their people.

In 2005, Wendy became intrigued with how dramatically different it is for women to become strong leaders and manage their sticky floor than it is for men and began her work in the women's leadership field. Today, she writes, runs both public and corporate in house women's leadership programs to help women unleash themselves professionally and to assist organizations build their pipeline of female talent.

In her spare time, Wendy is a gym rat and an avid weight lifter and enjoys spending precious time with her family and friends.
