Isabel Dijkgraaf

Isabel Dijkgraaf was born on October 10, 1987 in Zwenkau near Leipzig. However, she was born with Apert Syndrome, a physical disability. Thanks to numerous surgeries and medical interventions, Isabel can live her life today like a physically healthy person. Isabel completed her school career with a good secondary school leaving certificate at a school for physically handicapped children and adolescents. Her great pride is her professional career. Isabel is a trained medical documentation assistant and a qualified commercial specialist. She has already gained a lot of professional experience in both professional areas. Isabel has been working as a telephone customer advisor for a large telecommunications service provider since 2016. Isabel also volunteers for disabled people. It is very important to her that disabled people receive not only medical but also psychological help. That's why Isabel has also been active as a writer since 2019. Her publications deal intensively with the topic of "physical and mental disabilities". Isabel will publish further books on this topic in the near future as guides and stories. Isabel will describe her experiences as a physically disabled person as well as experiences with other disabled people in an autobiographical manner. And when she still has time, Isabel plays the barrel organ to raise funds for disabled people.
