The year after, she left her country to travel alone in India and met her English husband. She moved in Mumbai with him as an expat for two years as well as studied at The Yoga Institute of Santa Cruz East for a year and became a yoga instructor.

Then she moved first in the UK and gave birth to her son in Cambridge. She also lived in Edinburgh and taught French to Institut français d’Écosse but not for long as her husband's work brought them to explore East Europe, Republic of Macedonia for four years. She had enjoyed being a member of the Skopje International Women Association and the singing groups where she made many good friends for life!

In 2011, they packed again to live once more in UK where Manon completed a PGCE at Oxford Brookes University and taught to adults in colleges and for the French Department of the Ministry of Defence.

Returning to Canada with her family and dog, Manon realised her first novel in French, Le Porte-bonheur demi-anna in 2019 whilst teaching French to International children and being a member of two groups: West Vancouver Newcomers and Réseau femmes.

In August 2019, she published her first English novel, By Rickshaw to Romance: A Mountainous Journey accompanied by a guidebook Twenty-Eight Days Left: Joie de Vivre telling her daily story by keeping a balanced life. Having to deal with a new overwhelmed self-publisher role as well as a teenager in summer holiday by her side, Manon has grown so much! Back to teaching French to her little students, Manon has just finished her first children book in September, The Diamond and Little Snowman. A Bilingual Educational Colouring book to encourage the new generation to enjoy nature and the outdoors by doing activities, especially having fun in the snow with friends in the winter. The year ended magically, Manon has just published her second French book, Le Petit Charmeur (tales and poems) inspired of people and her students who look ordinary but deep inside they are in reality extraordinary sharing their gentle look, smiles, kind words and hugs!
