John Douglas

John Douglas Church is a professional writer, director and editor with over 20 years of experience in his field.

A graduate of Film Studies at Ryerson University with a major in writing, John worked for the Directors Guild of Canada and in various other production roles before founding Digital 7 Productions in 2001.

John has overseen more than 400 productions, from corporate communication videos to national television commercials, garnering several awards for his work. He is a licenced drone pilot and a signature content contributor with Getty Images and iStock Video.

John’s experience in the world of entertainment and travel led him to writing his first highly successful book. Outside of his production endeavors, he is currently working on three new writing projects, including two cookbooks and his first novel, a fictional thriller.
