Avril S. Mitchell "Serenity" was described as a gifted writer early on in her college career due to her way, of creatively using words to keep the reader engaged. She is from the island of Freeport, Bahamas. She is also an inspirational speaker, motivator, and mentor. She spends her time giving back to her community visiting the local orphanage as an evagelist spreading the name of Jesus Christ. She has countless experience with kids through volunteering at various summer camps and was hired by her local government to teach children.

Her love for kids led her in 2011, to form her own organization for teenage girls, with the purpose of youth development. She aspires to write inspirational stories to motivate her readers. Her humorous personality however, peaks through in her writings.
