Lif Strand

Lif Strand lives in the Land of Enchantment (New Mexico, USA). She graduated from UC Berkeley with an independent major in Philosophy of Art. After dithering around at many jobs, including but not limited to police officer, house painter, BMW shop and IMSA racing partner, horse breeder and endurance rider, oh, and webmaster -- she wound up as a for-hire writer of non-fiction for the better part of two decades. Since then she has turned to writing fiction because it's a lot more fun.

When she is not writing, she is scooping horse poop, hiking and taking photos, or creating fabric wall art.
