Lou Ellen Hoffman

Lou Ellen Hoffman grew up in the South and was one of five sisters and one brother, in a large family in Mississippi. Hospitality, respect and honor to others, having a moral code, and serving Christ Jesus was part of the foundation on which she was raised.

At the age of thirteen, she taught herself to play the organ and began playing in a small city church. That small church grew and expanded to over 500 per week. The platform became her place of ministry in church from that time forward. Her parents by example taught her to be a servant in the house of God and scriptures taught her to "do whatever she could find her hands to do." There were no jobs too small or too large for her such as cleaning the restrooms, working with kids, office work to preaching and teaching the Word of God. Lou has seen some of everything in the church world.

Because of her servant heart God began to launch her out to minister. She served wherever a door was open. She became the first woman to serve on the IPHC MS board and in 1999 became Pastor at a church in Quitman, MS and has served there in that capacity for over 20 yrs.
